VP/Sales & Account Manager

The Financial Brand is looking for an ambitious, independent self-starter to manage and develop long-term relationships with our portfolio of rs and conference sponsors. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients
  • Develop annual advertising and sponsorship plans for clients
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Sell digital advertising space and conference sponsorships to prospects and leads
  • Coordinate logistics between clients and The Financial Brand team to implement advertising and sponsorship plans
  • Prepare reports for client with key performance metrics
  • Work with new sales leads and help attain growth goals
  • Manage and maintain a database of clients and prospects in a CRM system
  • Proactively contact clients to strengthen and build relationships

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven account management experience
  • Extensive experience managing multiple projects with a razor-sharp attention to details
  • Prior advertising and/or conference sales experience a big plus
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Deep understanding of online advertising, digital marketing and content marketing
  • Experience in the financial/banking industry
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
